BROWN BAG PROGRAM – FREE GROCERIES MONTHLY
The Brown Bag Program is a monthly bag of basic groceries for seniors offered in 50 towns in Western Massachusetts. Each bag contains a healthy mix of protein, vegetables, fruits, dairy and grains with an occasional desert item. Fresh produce is also included when it’s available in the growing season. The Brown Bag Program is made possible by dedicated seniors in your community who travel to Adams to help unload the truck that brings the food and assemble the brown bags you receive.
In Lanesborough pick up will be on the 4th Friday of the month at the Lanesborough Town Hall in the Community Room.
If you are unable to pick up your bag you may send someone to pick it up for you. If you have no one that you can send we may be able to deliver it.
